Apartment

T5

The project

Complete renovation of a large building apartment

Apartment from the 1970s, 110 m2, in need of complete renovation.
Housing with experience but a certain lack of charm.
A salmon pink too present in all the rooms, and a tiled floor throughout the apartment cooling the premises.
Visually outdated pieces.
In addition, unfortunately, we do not find the markers of the old one; existing materials that are not compliant and in poor condition.
A lack of modernity and harmony.
But large interesting surfaces to work on apart from the bathroom.

Customer expectations

Style & Space

A desire to refresh this apartment with style, with quality materials and design.

A decoration thought out from a choice of colors on palette: indigo blue, emerald green, terracotta, cream white.

The desire to bring a story specific to each room according to its function and its occupant.

Finally, work on spaces and their functionality.

My biases

Apartment with character & ultra decoration

Rethink space & choice of materials

Elegance and refinement:

with Haussmanian codes such as moldings, rosettes, cornices etc...  but also with an ultra-trendy solid parquet floor : the point of Hungary.

From stamp:

with design and unique decorative accessories and furniture (a sofa et cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_a bubble light suspension, art paintings...).

Feature:

With bespoke furniture.

A kitchen with plenty of storage.

Children's rooms where the space on the ground is ventilated, and the space in height used.

Key room: The hallway

A narrow hallway cut in two turns into a long passage leading to each room. An "all over" and  "trendy" painting to bring character to the place as soon as you enter the apartment.  This enlarges the spaces.

Transformation of the right wall, presented as a photo vernissage.

The place becomes arty and Haussmanian.

Medical office

The project

A professional project

An obvious problem from the first visit to the premises: a small cluttered space.
A certain lack of storage, paintings that need refresh, a reception area that is not very welcoming and a waiting area  that is not very readable.

Customer expectations

refreshment and homestaging

Medical practice  theme: clean and welcoming.

Possible duration of the work: 2 days, during the Sunday closing of the medical office.

My biases

Functionality, readability and tidy space, airy

Fenshui Theme

Zen atmosphere

open-space

An area of 180m2 :

without partitioning makes it possible to comfortably ventilate  the workspaces and to create an interaction between them.

This encourages teamwork and exchanges.

Large bay windows:

which provide a large source of natural light.

This is where we will install office and espace détente.

Both spaces have direct access on the 54m2 terrace.

The 3 main areas therefore become interaccessible.

Presence of two windows on the North facade:

this is where I place the storage area.

It is important for an order preparation space  to benefit from a bright space.

Travel to the exit will thus be faster.

The meeting space:

I used lots of greenery for a sense of outdoor escape.

A platform is placed and will allow  to have lunch as well as to conduct meetings (dual function).

I created informal work areas (semi-standing, lying down, leaning) with auxiliary tables; the goal being to be able to escape the pressure  and the stress that professional daily life  can sometimes cause.

The offices:

Respect for ergonomic codes as well as the softness and affectivity of the seats (natural wood, organic cotton fabric, vegetable material, etc.).
Work has been done on the acoustics to preserve the privacy  of OPEN SPACE employees: plant partitions, acoustic lights and acoustic ceiling lights.

Spaceterrace:

I chose the colors: Red / Black / Khaki.

These colors are synonymous with energy and emotion.

This outdoor space  will therefore be a place of relaxation but also fun (ping pong table, table football).
I chose outdoor furniture originaux to remind the artistic graffiti touches of the workspace. bb3b-136bad5cf58d_

Provencal house

The project

Decoration and layout

Anxious to preserve the authenticity and the soul of the place, I wanted to renovate the existing house by enlarging, opening up the spaces and connecting them:

Kitchen / Living room / Dining room / Terrace

This in order to live comfortably with family and to be able to receive friends warmly; the house is family friendly.

My biases

Simple lines and immaculate whiteness

Natural materials and colors

Multiply the advantages of this beautiful Provençal house.
-clean volumes: ventilate the spaces by decompartmentalizing them.

The office and the entrance will however be delimited.

-  luminosity + extreme whiteness for new perspectives: stone house in which heat and light must be allowed to enter.

-outward openingby creating large bay windows and allowing each room on the ground floor to have access to  outside (bay windows / French windows). In summer everything can remain open.

-  outdoor area for children(chairs and table à leur size, hammock, poufs, swing...).

-large room at vivre communecombining materials and natural colors (white concrete, wood).
