The Dar Dar House (formerly Maison d'Alep) works with 2 glassblower workshops in Damascus. The work of these workshops is of course considerably impacted by the particularly difficult situation in Syria for several years.
The way of producing had to deal with a smaller number of artisan blowers, and a high cost of the fuel needed to operate the ovens.
But these Syrian craftsmen continue to work, to practice their trade according to an ancestral technique. They thus ensure their own subsistence and the transmission of this traditional know-how.
ITEM DETAILS
Gorgeous “cluster” lamp composed of approx. 92 transparent drops (approx. 7 cm).
Recycled glass drops are blown by mouth, without mold in Syria.
They are mounted 1 to 1 on a metal frame.

DIMENSIONS
The drops are blown without a mold and their number varies from piece to piece. Each piece is therefore unique and the dimensions indicated are approximate.

DELIVERY
Recycled and tinted glass in the mass. As this product is mouth blown in an artisanal oven, the intensity of the colors may vary slightly and the glass may contain small impurities. Since most of our models are blown without a mould, the dimensions are approximate.
Bunches: This product is entirely handmade, the number of drops varies from piece to piece, as does the number and distribution of the different colors. Each piece is therefore unique. It may happen that drops are broken during transport or handling. This does not alter the quality or appearance of the product, the other drops filling the place of the broken ones.
